Coachella Day Two Draws Massive Crowd
Festivalgoers returned to the Empire Polo Grounds yesterday for Day Two of the Coachella Festival. The night wrapped up around midnight with crowd-pleasing sets from artists like Charli XCX, Clairo, and Travis Scott. Rock legends Green Day also lit up the stage. Each weekend, Coachella draws more than 100,000 attendees from all over. The festival offers more than just music—there’s immersive art, fan zones, and food from across the globe. People of all ages take part, turning the experience into a tradition. Some families say they come every year, bringing cousins, aunts, and even grandparents. For them, Coachella is more than a festival—it’s a multi-generational bonding event. Reporter Caitlyn Kelley caught up with one such family and shared their story. Tonight’s big names include Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, and Zedd. With another packed lineup, energy remains high as the weekend continues.

Remembering and honoring the loved ones we’ve lost. ❤️ Dia de los Muertos is about more than mourning — it’s a time to celebrate the lives, memories and traditions of those who will always remain in our hearts. We spoke with Mateo Gomez of Forest Lawn about the importance of keeping those memories alive and creating healthier conversations around grief and loss, including the stigma surrounding suicide. Join Forest Lawn for a special Día de los Muertos celebration this Monday in Cathedral City, from 5 to 8 p.m. Families are invited to come together, remember loved ones and celebrate their lives. #DiaDeLosMuertos #DayOfTheDead #ForestLawn #CathedralCity #RememberingLovedOnes #GriefSupport #NBCPalmSprings
