Dish Detective Week 2 Case Cracked
We announced the winner of this week's "Dish Detective" contest, a weekly game show segment produced in partnership with "Dining with the Davids."
The contest, which runs on our station's Instagram account, presents viewers with images of three dishes from an undisclosed Coachella Valley restaurant each Monday. Participants have 72 hours to identify the mystery restaurant by tagging it in the comments section.
This week's clues featured three dishes: salmon sashimi with blood orange ginger glaze, beef stroganoff with herb buttered noodles, and chocolate trifle with chocolate cake, sautéed verjus, cherry wine, fresh berries, custard, and French whipped cream.
The mystery restaurant was revealed to be Willie's Modern Fare in Rancho Mirage. Instagram user "ratpackparadise" correctly identified the establishment and was selected as the winner through a random drawing among correct entries.
The winner receives a $100 gift card to Willie's Modern Fare.
The next Dish Detective challenge will begin Monday morning on our Instagram account. Contestants must submit their guesses within 72 hours of the initial post, and winners are announced during our Friday morning programming.
