Justin Bieber Drops Surprise Album ‘Swag II’ Following Viral Success of ‘Swag’
Justin Bieber is making a strong return to music with the release of his second surprise album of 2025. The 31-year-old pop star announced that “Swag II” would drop at midnight Friday, following the viral success of “Swag,” released on July 11.
“Swag” quickly became a summer sensation thanks to tracks like “Daisies” and “Yukon,” which dominated TikTok and earned widespread acclaim. The Atlantic even declared “Daisies” the “song of the summer,” describing the album as a soothing, timely addition to the season’s playlist.
The project also featured collaborations with big names like 2 Chainz, Gunna, and Sexyy Red. With “Swag II,” fans are expecting a more pop-driven sound, though Bieber has kept details under wraps.
The back-to-back releases mark Bieber’s first major projects since 2021’s “Justice.” In recent years, he had largely stepped back from music, focusing on personal life, including welcoming his first child, Jack Blues Bieber, with wife Hailey in 2024.
Bieber has still appeared on notable tracks, including Wizkid’s “Essence” and SZA’s “Snooze,” but “Swag” marked his full re-entry into the music scene. Now, with “Swag II,” he looks to build on that momentum.
Outside of music, Bieber also made headlines this week when he surprised a Los Angeles bride by posing for wedding photos, creating a viral moment of his own.
