Earth Day is front and center today. Observed every year on April 22, this global event is all about demonstrating support for the environmental protection of our planet. With climate change accelerating, every little bit counts, whether that's planting a tree, reducing waste, or simply spreading the word. Keep an eye out for Earth Day celebrations happening around the Coachella Valley this week!
Next up, today is also National Jelly Bean Day, a holiday celebrating those tiny, bean-shaped sugar candies that come in just about every color of the rainbow. Did you know jelly beans actually trace their roots back to the Boston area during the Civil War? Whether you're a classic fruit flavor fan or an adventurous eater who dares to try the mystery assortment, today is your day to indulge.
