NBC Palm Springs Hosts Toy, Food, and Clothes Drive for Local Charities

NBC Palm Springs is teaming up with the Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City and the Galilee Center of Mecca to host a toy, food, and clothes drive this holiday season. The drive aims to support local families in need, making it easier than ever to give back. The community is invited to drop off unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items, and socks at the NBC Palm Springs station in Palm Desert, conveniently located off Monterey and Park View Drive. Donating is simple — just drive by and drop off your contributions without even leaving the comfort of your car. The event will run throughout the day, and all donations will directly benefit children and families in the Coachella Valley. Toys collected will be distributed at the Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City's Posada event on Thursday, ensuring that each gift reaches a child in need. This drive is a perfect opportunity for everyone to spread some holiday cheer and make a positive impact on the community. Local radio station Big 106 has also joined the effort, highlighting the importance of donating toys for all ages, from little ones to teens. The drive will continue until 7 p.m., so stop by and help make the holidays brighter for those in need.
