Amber Alert Issued for Two Young Girls After Mother’s Alleged Murder
The California Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert across central and Southern California following the tragic death of a woman in Hanford, south of Fresno. Johnathan Maldonado is suspected of killing the mother of his two young daughters, 3 year old Arya and 2 year old Alana. It is believed that Maldonado took the children and may have fled to Mexico.
Maldonado, who is considered armed and dangerous, was last seen driving a 2020 gray Hyundai Elantra. Authorities are urgently searching for the missing girls, who are described as having brown hair and brown eyes. The Amber Alert has sparked a widespread effort to locate the children and bring them home safely.
Anyone who may have information on their whereabouts or the suspect’s location is strongly encouraged to contact 9-1-1. As the investigation unfolds, authorities remain focused on ensuring the safe return of Arya and Alana. The community’s help is crucial as law enforcement continues to pursue leads in this tragic case.
