Vendors Brings Flavor and Fun to Taste of Jalisco in Cathedral City This Weekend
Cathedral City is celebrating the vibrant spirit of Mexico this weekend with the ninth annual Taste of Jalisco Festival. The event is packed with cultural highlights, including live music, tequila tastings, carnival rides, games, and, of course, amazing food.
Brett Rosen, reporting live from the festival, highlighted the festival's diverse offerings, especially the food. Local vendors like Mexican Delights are a big hit, with their famous birria tacos taking center stage. The tacos, made with beef marinated in chili and slow-cooked for hours, are a festival favorite.
Miguel, a part-owner of Mexican Delights, shared why the festival is so important to them: “What brings us here every year is the chance to serve our amazing food and to connect with the community. Personally, my favorite part of the festival is the atmosphere—the rides, the tequila, and all the amazing vendors that bring their unique products here."
This year marks Mexican Delights’ third appearance at the festival, and their dedication to serving authentic and delicious food is clear.
The Taste of Jalisco Festival not only celebrates Mexican culture but also brings the community together to enjoy music, art, and a festive vibe. Whether you're indulging in delicious food or enjoying the carnival, the event is a highlight of Cathedral City's cultural calendar and a perfect way to spend the weekend.
Brett couldn’t help but indulge in the delicious birria tacos during his live report, joking that the studio crew might feel a bit jealous. If you're looking for a fun, flavorful way to experience the spirit of Mexico, the Taste of Jalisco Festival is the place to be this weekend!
