Origional Story:
A wildfire that ignited Monday afternoon in the mountains along Highway 74 has burned 1,200 acres with minimal containment, prompting road closures and leaving residents stranded for more than 12 hours.
The Rosa Fire broke out at approximately 12:30 p.m. Monday near the Santa Rosa Truck Trail. As of the most recent update, the blaze remains only 5 percent contained. Fire officials are expected to provide an updated assessment around 8 a.m.
