Emo-Themed Skate Night Coming to Berger Foundation Iceplex Sept. 26
Get ready to lace up your skates and maybe your eyeliner. The Berger Foundation Iceplex is bringing back early 2000s vibes with an emo-themed skate night on Thursday, Sept. 26.
The special event will feature a soundtrack filled with emo anthems, gift giveaways and contests throughout the evening. One lucky attendee will even walk away with tickets to see Blink-182.
For those looking to really embrace the theme, there’s an extra incentive: skaters who show up dressed in emo-inspired attire will receive a free skate rental.
Organizers say the night is all about nostalgia, music, and community fun, with a nod to the era when bands like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy and Blink-182 ruled the charts.
The emo skate night is open to all ages, with the Iceplex encouraging attendees to come ready for a night of skating, singing and throwback fashion.
