New Starbucks Opens in Cathedral City’s Cove Shopping Center
Cathedral City welcomed a new addition to its business community today as Starbucks celebrated the grand opening of its latest location at the Cove Shopping Center, situated at Highway 111 and Date Palm Drive. The ribbon-cutting event drew a crowd of city representatives, members of the local economic development team, and the new store’s staff, all eager to mark the occasion.
This is the second major grand opening in the Coachella Valley this week, underscoring the region’s growth in retail and dining options. Store manager and employees joined in the festivities, offering samples of signature drinks to guests. “We had some baristas come out and hand out some delicious samples,” the store manager said, noting the presence of both family and friends at the celebration. A district manager also joined the event, reinforcing Starbucks’ commitment to supporting its team at the local level.
The timing of the new opening couldn’t be better for coffee fans, with the holiday season right around the corner. Seasonal drinks such as the Peppermint Mocha and Caramel Brulée Latte will be among the highlights at the new café.
Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to stop by the new location, conveniently located at one of Cathedral City’s busiest intersections. Whether for a morning coffee run or an afternoon pick-me-up, the new Starbucks aims to serve as both a gathering spot and a boost to the local business landscape.
