Miralon Donates $37,100 to Find Food Bank for Coachella Valley Families
Sustainable living development Miralon has donated $37,100 to Find Food Bank, an effort designed to provide more than 150,000 meals for families in the Coachella Valley facing food insecurity.
The funds were raised during Miralon’s sold-out Tuscan Friendsgiving event, which featured a hands-on cooking experience with renowned Tuscan chef Sandra Lotti. The event began as an idea from two local women who wanted to make a difference in the community. “We met Find Food Bank, saw the need, and set up this event using Miralon’s beautiful location and test kitchen,” one organizer said. “We hosted 100 people, served a five-course meal with wine, and received incredible donations for the food bank.”
For Find Regional Food Bank, the event exemplified the power of community collaboration. “People coming together and bringing talent from around the world to help feed those in need in our community means so much, especially during the holiday season,” said a spokesperson.
Proceeds from ticket sales and specialty olive oil purchases fueled the donation, marking Miralon’s latest effort to support local nonprofits and give back to the community during the holidays.
