FAA Ground Stop Halts Departing Flights at Palm Springs International Airport
Departing flights at Palm Springs International Airport are not operating today due to a Federal Aviation Administration air traffic control issue impacting Southern California airspace.
Airport officials confirmed that a ground stop remains in effect for departing flights. While aircraft have been able to arrive at PSP, some inbound flights have diverted to other airports, and travelers should expect delays and broader schedule disruptions.
Officials emphasized that the situation is not isolated to Palm Springs and is affecting multiple airports throughout Southern California. The FAA is managing the issue, and PSP continues to work closely with both federal officials and airline partners as the situation unfolds.
