Bring Your Greek: St. George Greek Fest Returns to Palm Desert
I’m Thalia Hayden at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Palm Desert, where excitement is building for the annual Greek Fest, happening February 21st and 22nd. Joining me is Dr. Kontaksis, who shares what’s new this year—including a refreshed layout with spread-out booths, a large big screen viewing area, and a lively bar setup featuring ouzo and mezedes. Guests can relax at the expanded coffee bar, enjoy traditional Greek food and dancing, explore rich cultural customs, and even dress up in Greek attire for a free photo. With something for everyone, this year’s festival promises a fun, immersive experience that celebrates Greek culture—so bring your appetite and come see what it’s like to be Greek.
