Larkspur Grill Supports Heart Health During American Heart Month
February is recognized as American Heart Month, a time to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in the United States. Locally, Larkspur Grill at Hotel Passale is taking action by donating 20% of the proceeds from its heart-healthy menu to the American Heart Association.
According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular disease impacts millions of people each year, with one person dying every 34 seconds in the U.S. Mary Lee, a representative with the organization, says partnerships like this go beyond fundraising—they raise awareness, support local initiatives for heart health, and help advocate for healthier policies nationally.
Larkspur Grill’s initiative allows diners to enjoy a delicious, heart-conscious meal while contributing to a cause that promotes longer, healthier lives. The restaurant team emphasized that this effort is close to their hearts, aiming to support both awareness and community wellness.
For those looking to combine dining with giving back, Larkspur Grill offers an opportunity to enjoy flavorful meals while supporting programs that fight cardiovascular disease and encourage heart-healthy living.
