Palm Desert Food & Wine Festival Returns to El Paseo
The Palm Desert Food & Wine Festival is back today in Palm Desert, taking over El Paseo for four days of culinary celebration.
The annual event brings together top chefs, winemakers, and local artisans, offering attendees a chance to experience world-class cuisine.
Celebrity chefs including Curtis Stone and Jet Tila are set to headline the festival, featuring live cooking demonstrations and tastings throughout the weekend.
New this year, organizers are introducing a luxury caviar and champagne tasting experience, along with immersive tours that highlight the region’s rich date farming heritage, giving visitors a deeper look at the Valley’s agricultural roots.
Organizers say the festival is not only about great food, but also about connecting the agricultural and hospitality industries, creating a unique and memorable experience for the public.

Palm Springs is mourning the loss of beloved entertainer James “Gypsy” Haake, who has died at 94. Haake began his entertainment career at just 19 years old as a Broadway chorus dancer. After retiring from the stage, he returned to performing at 82, becoming the host of Carnival Cabaret at Oscars in downtown Palm Springs. A longtime friend of our station, Haake was a familiar and beloved figure in the Palm Springs entertainment community — and his contributions were recognized with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars.
