Beetlejuice the Musical Brings Broadway Magic to Palm Desert
A Broadway favorite is making its way to Palm Desert as Beetlejuice the Musical arrives at the McCallum Theatre from March 24 through March 29.
The hit production, based on the iconic film, has built a loyal fan following thanks to its high-energy performances, humor, and visually stunning stage design. The show blends comedy with a heartfelt story, making it a standout among modern musicals.
During an interview with Hayley Izurieta, the cast member shared insight into what makes the production so unique. Nearly a year after wildfires tore through Mountain Center, the scars are still visible along the Palms to Pines Highway. Now, fire crews are working to repair those burn areas and reduce the risk of flooding, erosion and mudslides when heavy rain arrives. The work includes fire-line suppression repairs, water bars and other measures designed to slow rainwater and keep burned soil from washing away.
