Palo Verde Hospital CEO Steps Down Amid Financial Struggles
Leadership changes are ahead for Palo Verde Hospital as longtime CEO Sandra Anaya prepares to step down on April 23 after 13 years with the facility.
The hospital has been navigating ongoing financial challenges, including bankruptcy proceedings and operational strain. Despite these difficulties, county officials have stepped in with millions of dollars in support to help maintain critical services, particularly the hospital’s emergency room.
The facility serves as the only emergency care provider in Blythe, making it a vital resource for the surrounding community and rural areas.
While the CEO transition is now confirmed, the future leadership structure at the hospital remains uncertain as officials continue working to stabilize operations and secure long-term solutions for the facility’s financial health.
