Barbara Streisand birthday tribute concert set for Palm Springs Annenberg Theater
A special tribute to music icon Barbara Streisand is coming to Palm Springs, celebrating her birthday with a night of music and nostalgia.
“Barbara: The Birthday Concert,” starring acclaimed tribute artist Sharon Owens, will take the stage at the Annenberg Theater next Friday, April 24 at 7 p.m.
Organizers say the timing of the performance makes the event even more meaningful, as it falls on Streisand’s actual birthday. The show is expected to highlight some of her most beloved hits, performed by Owens, who is known for her striking resemblance and vocal tribute to the legendary singer.
The Annenberg Theater, located at the Palm Springs Art Museum, continues to expand its lineup of high-quality performances, with a focus on bringing world-class talent to the Coachella Valley.
Organizers say the response to this event has been overwhelmingly positive, with tickets nearly sold out ahead of the performance.
They also hope the concert serves as a preview of more top-tier entertainment to come, as the theater looks to make full use of its space and attract major acts.
With strong community support and a growing demand for live entertainment, Palm Springs continues to position itself as a destination for arts and culture.
Tickets are available through the Palm Springs Art Museum.
