10th Annual Taste of Jalisco Festival Returns to Cathedral City with Lucha Libre and Music Tributes
Cathedral City is gearing up for a milestone celebration as the 10th anniversary of its signature festival returns to Town Square next weekend. Running from Friday, May 1, through Sunday, May 3, the event promises three full days of music, culture, and family-friendly entertainment in the heart of the city.
The festivities kick off on Friday night with a high-energy tribute to the "Queen of Tejano," Selena. The musical momentum continues into Saturday, which features back-to-back tribute performances honoring global superstars Shakira and Santana.
Sunday wraps up the weekend with a traditional crowd favorite: live Lucha Libre. The high-flying wrestling matches are a staple of the festival’s final day, drawing fans to the ring for a spectacular display of athleticism and traditional masked combat.
Beyond the main stage, Town Square will be transformed into a vibrant community hub throughout the weekend. Attendees can explore an extensive artisan market featuring local crafts, or grab a bite from a variety of food vendors. For those looking for a thrill, carnival rides will be operating all three days, while adults can enjoy specialized tequila tasting sessions.
