Spotlight 29 Hosts Firebirds Playoffs Watch Party
Hockey fans across the Coachella Valley are turning out tonight for watch parties tonight as the Coachella Valley Firebirds hit the ice in round two of the playoffs.
One of the bigger gatherings is happening at the Spotlight 29 Casino taproom, where fans are coming together to cheer on the team as they take on the Ontario Reign at the Toyota Arena.
The matchup is quickly becoming a rivalry, with several close games this season, many decided in overtime, adding even more excitement to tonight’s showdown.
Fans attending the watch party can expect a lively atmosphere, with appearances from the Firebirds’ energy team and mascot Fuego helping bring the arena experience to the big screen.
Local businesses are also joining in on the fun, offering food and drink specials for fans looking to enjoy the game with friends and family.
With temperatures climbing into the 90s across the desert, organizers say it’s the perfect chance to beat the heat, gather with fellow fans, and rally behind the Firebirds as they push forward in their season.
