Dr. Carreon Foundation Set to Award Record-Breaking 360,000 Dollars in Scholarships to Coachella Valley Students
An esteemed regional philanthropic organization is gearing up to celebrate an unprecedented milestone in its mission to support local academic advancement. The Dr. Carreon Foundation has finalized preparations to distribute a record-breaking 360,000 dollars in academic scholarships during its highly anticipated annual scholarship awards banquet next month.
The celebratory gathering is officially scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, hosted within the campus facilities of Shadow Hills High School in Indio. Running from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, the special luncheon and formal scholarship ceremony will formally honor the graduating high school class of 2026 alongside returning college students who are continuing their higher education journeys at various universities and vocational institutions across the country.
Foundation organizers emphasize that achieving this historical financial milestone is a direct reflection of strengthening community support, corporate sponsorships, and grass-roots regional partnerships. These collective efforts have allowed the organization to significantly expand its financial reach, helping a larger pool of deserving East Valley students offset the rapidly rising costs of undergraduate tuition, textbooks, and campus housing opportunities.
