Putt Putt on El Paseo Brings Business and Community Together in Palm Desert
The Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce brought community members and local businesses together for its annual Putt Putt on El Paseo event, an outing organizers say has been strengthening connections for nearly a decade.
The event transformed portions of El Paseo into a mini golf course, featuring nine holes at nine local businesses.
Organizers say the event helps drive customers into stores and restaurants, especially during the slower summer season, while introducing visitors to businesses they may not have otherwise discovered.
This year’s event teed off at The Gardens on El Paseo, where participants played their way through a course filled with food, drinks and friendly competition.
Business owners say the event creates valuable exposure and reminds residents and visitors that many El Paseo businesses remain open throughout the summer months.
Chamber officials say the goal is simple: support local businesses, strengthen community ties and keep people coming back to El Paseo long after the final putt drops.
