Cathedral City Family Organizes Donation Drive for Venezuela Earthquake Victims
A compassionate Cathedral City family is calling on the Coachella Valley community to rally behind the victims of the recent earthquakes that have devastated Caracas, Venezuela. Recognizing the critical need for immediate humanitarian aid, the family has stepped forward to organize a neighborhood donation drive aimed at collecting emergency supplies for families struggling to recover from the disaster.
The localized collection center has been established on 68100 Tortuga Road in Cathedral City, where the Teran family is actively accepting a wide range of essential resources to assist in the international relief effort. Area residents wishing to support the cause can drop off critical provisions, including:

A troubling history is coming to light in a Palm Desert husband’s death. 65-year old Vicky Kim is accused in the death of her husband — but prosecutors say she had previously faced several domestic violence cases involving him. The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office says it had secured protective orders against Kim before a judge later resolved her cases as misdemeanors, released her from custody and terminated those orders.
