Palm Springs Celebrates Sister City's Global Recognition
The Palm Springs is celebrating its sister city, San Miguel de Allende, after it was once again named the number one city in the world in this year's World's Best Awards from Travel + Leisure.
The honor recognizes San Miguel de Allende's rich history, vibrant arts scene, stunning architecture and renowned hospitality that continue to attract visitors from around the globe.
Palm Springs leaders say they are proud of the longstanding sister-city relationship and the cultural exchange that continues to connect the two communities.
Located in central Mexico, San Miguel de Allende is known for its colorful streets, colonial architecture and thriving arts community, making it one of the country's most popular travel destinations.
It certainly sounds like a wonderful place to visit.
