Palm Springs Cultural Center Reopening July 11 After Fire Closure
There is good news tonight for movie lovers in the Coachella Valley.
The Palm Springs Cultural Center announced that its historic Camelot Theatres will reopen this weekend after temporarily closing following a fire in the cafe area late last month.
To celebrate the reopening, the Cultural Center will host a special screening of director Steven Spielberg's iconic 1975 thriller "Jaws" on Saturday, July 11.
Officials say they are excited to welcome audiences back after completing the necessary repairs and preparing the theater to safely reopen.
The reopening marks a quick turnaround for the beloved Palm Springs landmark and a welcome return for local film enthusiasts eager to get back to the movies.
