One Hospitalized After Shooting in Thousand Palms

A shooting in Thousand Palms left one person hospitalized Saturday morning, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded just before 11:30 a.m. to the area of North Shore Street after receiving reports of a shooting.

When deputies arrived, they located one person suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities have not released the victim's identity or provided information about a possible suspect.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and no additional details have been released.

Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Riverside County Sheriff's Office as detectives continue their investigation.
