Indian Wells Offering Free Document Shredding Events for Residents and Businesses

The City of Indian Wells is partnering with Burrtec Waste and Recycling to offer two free document shredding events for residents and business owners.

The events are scheduled for Friday, July 25, and Friday, October 24, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Burrtec Palm Desert Facility.

The free service allows participants to safely dispose of sensitive documents, helping protect against identity theft while promoting secure recycling practices.

Participants must provide proof of current Indian Wells residency or business ownership to take part. Each vehicle is limited to four banker-sized boxes of documents for shredding.

City officials encourage eligible residents and business owners to take advantage of the events to securely dispose of confidential paperwork in an environmentally responsible way.
