Passion Church Becomes Valley's First Blue Zones Approved Faith-Based Organization
The Blue Zones Project is celebrating another milestone in Palm Springs as Passion Church has become the first faith-based organization in the Coachella Valley to earn Blue Zones approval.
The celebration brought together church members, city leaders, Blue Zones partners and community members at the church's campus on El Cielo Road.
Organizers recognized the church's commitment to promoting health, connection and overall well-being throughout the community.
The designation highlights efforts to encourage healthier lifestyles, strengthen social connections and create environments that support long-term wellness among residents.
Church leaders say the partnership allows them to support community members through healthy choices, meaningful relationships and opportunities to stay engaged and connected.
The celebration also featured water slides, family activities and community gatherings designed to bring neighbors together.
