Manny the Movie Guy Shares This Weekend’s Must-Watch Picks
It’s a big weekend for entertainment with new films hitting theaters and fresh content arriving on streaming platforms.
Manny the Movie Guy is spotlighting two standout releases audiences may want to add to their watchlists.
First up is Tuner, a stylish crime drama from Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Daniel Roher making his narrative feature debut.
The film stars Leo Woodall as Nicky, a gifted piano tuner living with hyperacusis, a condition that makes sound painfully intense. His extraordinary hearing eventually draws the attention of criminals who recruit him as a safecracker.
The movie also features performances from Dustin Hoffman and Havana Rose Liu, blending emotional drama, romance, and suspense against the backdrop of New York City. Manny praised the film’s immersive sound design and called it one of the year’s biggest surprises.
Meanwhile on streaming, The Four Seasons has officially returned for its second season on Netflix.
The ensemble comedy stars Tina Fey, Will Forte, and Colman Domingo as longtime friends navigating grief, relationships, and major life changes through a series of seasonal vacations.
Manny says the new season delivers the same mix of heartfelt storytelling and sharp comedy that made the first season a hit, making it perfect binge-watch material for the weekend.
