First up is Tuner, a stylish crime drama from Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Daniel Roher making his narrative feature debut.
The film stars Leo Woodall as Nicky, a gifted piano tuner living with hyperacusis, a condition that makes sound painfully intense. His extraordinary hearing eventually draws the attention of criminals who recruit him as a safecracker.
The movie also features performances from Dustin Hoffman and Havana Rose Liu, blending emotional drama, romance, and suspense against the backdrop of New York City. Manny praised the film’s immersive sound design and called it one of the year’s biggest surprises.
Meanwhile on streaming, The Four Seasons has officially returned for its second season on Netflix.
