Hombre que apuñaló a su prima en parque de San Diego comparece ante un juez
Este jueves se presentará frente a un juez el joven acusado de apuñalar a muerte a su prima en un parque de Sabre Springs al noreste de San Diego, tan solo unos días después de su arresto.
Uriel Cedillo tiene 22 años y vive en Poway, fue arrestado el domingo pasado en el 12500 de Oak Knoll Road por el homicidio de su prima Fatima Cedillo, también de 22 años y residente de Poway, según los datos liberados por el Departamento de Policía de San Diego.
Los hechos ocurrieron la madrugada del domingo parque que se ubica en el 11500 de Meadow Grass Lane en el vecindario de Sabre Springs, una comunidad ubicada al noreste de la ciudad, en los límites con Poway.
“Los detectives descubrieron que la mujer había llegado al parque con un grupo de amigos, para luego mas tarde convivir con otro grupo que se encontraba en el lugar. Luego de un breve tiempo con los desconocidos, la víctima se alejó y regresó con su grupo de amigos para decirles que había sido apuñalada”, apuntó el Teniente Andra Brown del SDPD.

El departamento de policía dijo que oficiales de la División Noreste arribaron al lugar y encontraron a la joven herida e inconsciente con una herida de arma blanca en el torso. Los oficiales le practicaron RCP y primeros auxilios antes de ser transportada a un hospital local, donde desafortunadamente sería declarada muerta a las 3:45 a.m.
Una amiga cercana de Fatima, Litzy Vazquez, la recuerda como parte de su familia y dijo que todavía no cree que haya sucedido esta tragedia.
“No puedo creer que realmente nos la hayan arrebatado de esa manera, no puedo pensar en como fue, no puedo, no es justo para ella”, contó Vazquez entre lágrimas al canal NBC7.
Uriel es acusado de homicidio y se mantiene arraigado en la cárcel central sin derecho a fianza, mientras las autoridades aún tratan de encontrar un motivo para el crimen y la familia de Fatima llora su pérdida.

A troubling history is coming to light in a Palm Desert husband’s death. 65-year old Vicky Kim is accused in the death of her husband — but prosecutors say she had previously faced several domestic violence cases involving him. The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office says it had secured protective orders against Kim before a judge later resolved her cases as misdemeanors, released her from custody and terminated those orders. Now, Kim is expected to be arraigned in connection with her husband’s death. Court records allege the weapon used was a flagpole.
