Corvette Slams Head-On Into Packed Tour Bus in DUI Crash
NEW YORK — Shocking new video clips released by law enforcement and emergency agencies are giving viewers a firsthand look at several bizarre and dangerous incidents caught on camera across the country.
In California, the California Highway Patrol shared dramatic footage capturing the moment a tour bus packed with 48 passengers was struck head-on by a careening sports car. The bus was traveling along the scenic 17-Mile Drive when an oncoming Corvette crossed over the double yellow lines, smashing directly into the front of the commercial vehicle. The impact violently jarred the passengers inside. While one person on the bus suffered minor injuries, the driver of the Corvette sustained significant injuries and was hospitalized. Following an initial investigation, authorities arrested the Corvette driver on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Meanwhile, transportation officials in Wisconsin captured a very different kind of poor driving decision that led to an incredibly sticky situation. Video from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in Milwaukee County showed a pickup truck completely immobilized in a freshly poured section of an interstate ramp. According to investigators, the driver intentionally ignored warnings and physically moved a road closed barrier out of the way before driving directly into the construction zone. The pickup truck quickly sank into the fresh concrete and had to be mechanically plucked from the highway ramp by recovery crews.
The final viral clip highlights an elaborate and heartwarming rescue mission executed by emergency responders in Colorado. A small terrier named Tank vanished underneath his family's residential deck, ultimately getting wedged tightly in a tiny gap between the wooden planks and an underlying concrete pad. The South Metro Fire Rescue deployed a massive team of 18 personnel to locate the distressed animal. Responders used specialized search instruments and heavy tools to cut through both the wooden deck and the concrete barrier while the dog's anxious owners watched. After a painstaking effort, crews successfully pulled Tank from the tight space, reuniting him with his relieved family completely uninjured.

A troubling history is coming to light in a Palm Desert husband’s death. 65-year old Vicky Kim is accused in the death of her husband — but prosecutors say she had previously faced several domestic violence cases involving him. The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office says it had secured protective orders against Kim before a judge later resolved her cases as misdemeanors, released her from custody and terminated those orders.
