Friday Night Lights: Palm Springs Indians relying heavily on senior leadership
Last season was a challenging one for the Indians, who were hit hard by injuries and finished with a 3-7 record and 0-5 in league play. But this year, a senior-heavy roster on both sides of the ball is ready to change the story.
Head coach Darryl Goree praised his team for overcoming last year’s adversity and stepping into 2025 with renewed determination.
“Honestly, a lot of last season came down to merging sophomores into varsity,” Goree said. “That experience is going to be a big part of our success this year.”
One standout to watch is Koa Rapolla, considered one of the Valley’s top 10 players to follow this season.
With experience, chemistry, and motivation on their side, Palm Springs is ready to put last season behind them and make some noise in the DEL.
The Indians will open their 2025 campaign next week at home against Segerstrom.
