A Palm Desert High senior recently represented the Coachella Valley as the only local finalist in the McCallum Theater’s Choreography Festival, a world-renowned event featuring submissions and performers from across the nation and internationally. The festival provides a platform not only for dancers but also for choreographers, highlighting creative aspects of performance that are often less visible.
The student performed a duet choreographed by a recent graduate, sharing the stage with professional dancers and finalists from other programs, including the East Valley Dance Project.
