Jerry's Weather Crystal Ball Forecast (Sadly) Comes True...
Two-weeks before major Hurricane Milton made landfall along Florida's Gulf Coast (the same day Hurricane Helene was moving over the Big Bend area), I was talking on-air -- and posting on-line -- concerns about another tropical threat to the state. This was just before the National Hurricane Center even listed info on the development of a possible Tropical Wave. Like my very early forecast on a possible Hilary -- which brought damaging winds and water to California last year -- I documented my forecasts on social media. Here's a snapshot of my forecast of what-would-become Hurricane Milton back on September 26th. Yep... I'm a major Cat-5 Weather Nerd. :v) @JerrySteffen @NBCPalmSprings
