Jerry's SoCal Weather Briefing for Thursday, September 25, 2025!
Today, the Coachella Valley will be under sunny skies with near-normal high temperatures around 100° and dew points near 50°.
Because a cut-off Low will be spinning to our North, on-shore winds will strengthen this afternoon into the evening hours, especially around the Desert Hot Springs and San Gorgonio Pass areas where sustained winds will peak at around 30 mph.
We'll start-out with sunny skies on Friday followed by increasing cloud cover while temperatures back-off and humidity levels rise.
On Saturday, that aforementioned Low will be situated in a position (between SoCal and SW Arizona) where wrap-around moisture will elevate the chance of precipitation over the Southwest.
Hit-and-miss light showers are possible in the Coachella Valley with accumulation from a couple of sprinkles to maybe a tenth-of-an-inch.
Skies will slowly clear on Sunday while high temps remain below-normal all of next week.
